Midland To Rock Pollstar Digital Live Session With Contributing Editor Holly Gleason on Thursday

Midland, the Grammy-nominated progressive retro-country band, will appear this Thursday, Aug. 27 on Pollstar’s Digital Live Session.

Last fall, with Pollstar as a co-presenter, the Luck Springs, Texas-based trio re-opened North Hollywood’s legendary honky tonk the Palomino on Lankershim Boulevard. For Record Store Day, this Saturday, the band’s releasing One Night Only: Live from the Palomino on vinyl. The two-disc set captures the fan favorites in the packed club in full sweat factor.

Pollstar Contributing Editor Holly Gleason – who wrote our October 2019 cover story “Midland: 21st Century Honky Tonk All-Night Band”  about the live factor in taking this band from the clubs to headlining the Houston Rodeo – will interview Jess Carson, Cam Duddy and Mark Wystrach tomorrow at 4 pm ET/1 pm PT in what promises to be a riveting and rollicking discussion.
