The Beach Boys’ headline slot during the inaugural concert at River’s Edge Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa, May 25 was even more memorable thanks to a deer crashing the party.

The Daily Nonpareil said a woman sitting with her husband in the back row of the venue was injured when a buck jumped over a 4-foot railing – and the people lined up behind it – and hit her on its way down.

The woman was temporarily knocked out and sustained bruises to her head, back and shoulders. Paramedics treated the woman at the scene and the couple then went to a nearby hospital for follow-up treatment, the paper said.

The buck was last seen running into the woods near the park.
