Ozzfest Japan Sells Out
H.I.P., the Japanese promoter that presented the first Ozzfest ever to play Japan, reports that the two-day festival, which took place May 11-12, was sold out, drawing more than 20,000 fans each day.
H.I.P.โs partner in the project, Ozzfest organizer Sharon Osbourne, said in a statement, โI am so thrilled with the success of the first ever Ozzfest Japan. The fans really loved the extraordinary mix of international and Japanese artists. Since we had such a great reception, weโre already in dialogue about a 2014 Ozzfest Japan!โ
H.I.P. President Kaori Hayashi said, โI feel we created a perfect storm with an amazing Japanese and international lineup.โ
