The Carnival Is Over

Australian folk-influenced pop quartet The Seekers is due back in the UK for what’s being billed as its 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour.

The act was the first group to reach No.1 on the Brit charts with each of its first three singles. It was also first Aussie act to have a No.1 in the U.S.

The hits included “I’ll Never Find Another You,” “A World of Our Own,” “Morningtown Ride,” “Someday, One Day”, “Georgy Girl,” and “The Carnival Is Over.”

The Seekers begin at The Sage in Gateshead September 16, followed by shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bournemouth, London, Brighton, Birmingham, Cardiff and Belfast.
