Dogus Pozitif About Music?

One of Turkey’s largest private conglomerates is believed to be in takeover talks with Pozitif Productions  the country’s largest music promoter and festival organizer.

Dogus Holding A.S., which in 1951 started in the construction business and now owns a string of banks and international media companies, is said to have reached the stage of carrying out due diligence on the Istanbul-based promoter.

Apart from promoting such acts as Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Jessie J, R.E.M., and Bob Dylan, Pozitif – which was formed 20 years ago – also has several festivals including Efes Pilsen One Love,  Akbank International Jazz Festival and until recently the ten-year-old Rock’n Coke Festival.

Pozitif chief Cem Yegul wasn’t available for comment at press time.
