Security Co. Denies All Good Claim
A security company in West Virginia says it isn’t liable for the paralyzing injury a man claims he suffered while attending the All Good Festival in July 2010.
Daniel Weaver filed suit in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg in May, accusing event producer Walther Productions, venue owner Marvin’s Mountaintop and security company Event Staffing of negligence.
Event Staffing recently filed a response denying responsibility for the incident, which Weaver’s suit alleges left him with injuries of a “serious and permanent nature including a fracture of the C6 vertebra,” and a “compromise of the spinal cord and paralysis from the chest down.”
The man claims he was chased by security staffers as he ran naked through the campground and into a swampy area, where he sustained his injuries.
Walther Productions responded to Weaver’s claim last month and also denied wrongdoing.
