Delhaye To Head MIDEM Entertainment
Jérôme Delhaye is the new director of Reed MIDEM’s entertainment division, which includes overseeing the business and strategic development of the annual music industry conference in the south of France.
He’ll also look after such television and digital content events as MIPTV, MIPCOM, MIPCube, MIPFormats, MIPDoc and MIPJunior.
Despite several attempts at broadening the scope of its content and reaching out to the live music sector, MIDEM attendance has been in steady decline for years.
Since joining Reed MIDEM in 2005, Delhaye has held various positions in strategy and diversification, new business development, marketing and business technology.
Prior to Reed MIDEM, he worked with the Boston Consulting Group in New York and Paris, leading assignments in financial services, real estate, pharmaceuticals, energy and consumer goods. He holds an engineering degree from the Institut National des Télécommunications and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
