More Coliseum Charges

While a probe into secret cash advances made by former officials with the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum continues, new evidence has found the payments to be even larger than previously reported.

According to records obtained by the Los Angeles Times, a representative for the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees received more than $1 million in cash payments from the Coliseum to cover stagehand wages over a four-year period.

Officials told the Times former GM Patrick Lynch never presented the commission that oversees the venue with invoice reports that detailed the advances.
