Concert Death Called Accidental

Coroners in Broomfield, Colo., have ruled that the recent death of a 20-year-old man who fell from a second-level seating area at the 1stBank Center was an accident.

Police said Christopher Engel was critically injured after falling while climbing down closed bleachers during a Pretty Lights concert at about 1:15 a.m., Jan. 1.

Engel was airlifted to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries Jan. 2. Alcohol was reportedly in his system, but police said foul play was not involved.
