Germany-based SSC is starting a new festival aimed at music fans no longer attracted to the volume and surroundings of a modern pop concert.
It will present the first New Fall Festival in the city’s 800-capacity Robert-Schumann-Saal and 1,600-capacity Tonhalle Oct. 11-16.
The promo material says the event is aimed at a “mature” audience, reacting to “a new and different live music and going-out culture.”
The acts helping to make all is this possible for SSC include Gentleman, Nouvelle Vague, Jens Lekman, Jochen Distelmeyer, Agnes Obel, Scott Matthew, Ólafur Arnalds, and James Yuilland.
