Goldsmith Set For Music & Media

World famous promoter Harvey Goldsmith will be interviewed at this year’s Music & Media in Tampere, Finland, but organisers are still puzzling over who should pop the questions.

The London-based entrepreneur with a global reputation will be guest of honour at the 22nd consecutive edition of the country’s foremost showcase conference.

The Lost in Music showcase will feature about 100 hand-picked Finnish and international acts, although this year’s lineup is expected to feature more talent from Russia and the Baltic countries.

M&M organiser Tuomo Tähtinen is one of a growing number of people in the Scandinavian music industry who believes the Baltics and Russia should be incorporated into a larger Nordic region.

The speakers who will be joining Goldsmith will be announced in the next few weeks. This year’s Music & Media is Oct. 20-23.
