Boy George For Amsterdam Dance

This year’s Amsterdam Dance Event will include an interview with errant former superstar Boy George, who will talk about his new label and being back in the Top 100 DJs list.

Last year’s 15th edition of ADE broke records by selling out its 2,500-capacity conference and attracting 112,000 visitors to its four-day festival.

This year the leading electronic music conference and the world’s biggest club festival for electronic music will also include contributions from other top DJs including Carl Cox, who will moderate a session called “The (Dance) World According To Carl Cox.”

The other dance and electronic music luminaries on the bill include Cream chief James Barton, who will give his take on “How To Survive and Thrive Long Term in Today’s Music Industry.”

ADE takes place at Amsetdam’s Felix Meritis centre and the Dylan Hotel on the Keizersgracht, in the heart of Amsterdam’s city centre, Oct 19-22.

More than 700 dance acts and DJs from all over the globe will perform in the 40-plus Amsterdam clubs that support the event.
