Manson Shows Up To Fashion Show

Five days prior to the earthquake, X Japan leader Yoshiki co-produced and hosted Asia Girls Explosion, an East-West fashion/music event at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo.

The big surprise of the evening was Marilyn Manson, who strutted his stuff on the runway. It was Yoshiki’s idea that Manson appear. He modeled clothing that combined Japanese street fashion with “progressive Western design.”

Yoshiko also unveiled his own fashion line called Yoshikimono at the event. The designs were influenced by his parents, who ran a kimono shop when he was a child.
