Pacino Playing Spector?

Phil Spector may get the Al Pacino treatment with recent news that the Oscar winner is slated to play the imprisoned record producer in an upcoming HBO project.

Barry Levinson will executive produce and David Mamet will write and direct the movie, which is still in development, according to New York Times.

Spector is currently serving a 19 year to life sentence.
