Too Short Arrested

Police say Atlanta-based Too Short was arrested for allegedly being involved in a fight at the Knitting Factory in Boise, Idaho, after the rapper’s July 14 concert.

Police were called after Too Short, whose real name is Todd Shaw, allegedly got involved in a fight after security told him he couldn’t bring underage girls backstage.

Three employees told police they were punched and kicked by Shaw and 38-year-old Michael Walton of Modesto, Calif., who appeared to be an associate of the rapper. Walton faces two counts of misdemeanor battery.

Ada County Jail records show Shaw and Walton were arrested early July 15 and were released on bond. The show featured E-40 and included Mack 10.

A representative for Knitting Factory could not comment to Pollstar because the investigation is ongoing.
