Google Scores Simplify

Google has acquired music- and photo-streaming service Simplify Media, with plans to make the technology available for music streaming on Android phones.

Specifically, the technology will allow Android users to sync and stream music from their desktops to their phones, Google announced May 20.

Simplify Media previously provided apps for Apple’s App Store but shut down all its services for Apple in March.
