Vector’s New GM

Following a worldwide search for a new general manager at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, the venue has selected from within and gone with Brendan Hines.

Hines was the arena’s finance and administration manager for the last five years.

“We’re delighted that Brendan has accepted this new role and we are sure that he will lead the organisation into the future and build on the strength and reputation for excellence we have already achieved,” said QPAM Ltd. chairman Bruce Mactaggart.

Hines has experience in a variety of roles in Australia and the UK, including as financial controller for sports marketing firm International Management Group.

The 12,000-capacity Vector Arena is New Zealand’s first multi-functional arena. It opened in 2007.
