It’s the latest in a series of rebrandings for the 5,000-seat shed that was opened by DiCesare-Engler Productions in 1989 as Melody Amphitheatre. Trib Total Media is parent company to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
The Tribune’s print rival, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, had its own branding deal at the Live Nation-owned suburban shed now known as the
Terms of the new sponsorship deal weren’t disclosed. The Trib Total Media Amphitheatre was once the I.C. Light Amphitheatre, before DiCesar-Engler was acquired by SFX Entertainment.
The shed was later branded the Chevrolet Amphitheatre at Station Square.
