Café Stars In Couleur Film
Popular world music festival Couleur Café was the subject of a Belgian national TV documentary Oct. 11.
RTBF, or Radio Télévision Belge, the national broadcasting organisation for the French-speaking southern parts of the country, followed Couleur Café’s Jérôme Colin on a tour of the Brussels festival site, accompanied by some of his favourite acts including Keziah Jones, Ayo, Groundation, RZA, Solomon Burke, Neg’ Marrons, Babylon Circus and Amadou & Mariam.
It was called “Hep Taxi!” referring to the old Tour and Taxis industrial estate where it’s held.
The 2010 edition of Couleur Café Festival, the 21st time it’s been staged, will be June 25-27.
