Seventy-five percent of the top international booking agents are based in London, which makes them Masters Of The Universe according to a promotional flyer for the upcoming Live UK Summit Oct. 7-8.

John Giddings (Solo), Rob Hallett (AEG), and Geoff Meall (The Agency Group) will be among those at London’s Radisson SAS Portman Hotel to reveal how much power they wield and the secrets of their success.

It’s the third staging of the conference, which is produced by Live UK magazine (sister paper of Audience), and its organisers no doubt hope there’ll be enough delegates to establish it in the calendar alongside similar Brit conferences as In The City and The Great Escape.

Other panels will deal with how acts can win fans and influence the industry, the high tech world of show production, the current state of the ticket business, 360-degree deals, the U.K. festival business, and include the key players’ opinions on where the music business is heading.
