Blige Cancels Oz Tour

The Mary J. Blige Australian tour – first set for June and then November – is canceled.

Official reason: "Re-scheduling issues surrounding [her] existing international tour schedule and personal commitments."

Promoter Michael Chugg said, "We have been in constant contact with Mary’s management and have tried a number of alternatives to make this work."

Chugg, who rates Blige as one of the best live acts today, said he’ll get Blige to Australia one day.
