Jesse Stoll Joins AEG Live
AEG Live has officially opened its Florida office in downtown West Palm Beach after spending the last three months looking for a permanent home for John Valentino and his staff, which now includes a recent University of Miami grad: Jesse Stoll, the son of the late Fantasma Productions founder Jon Stoll.
Jesse Stoll, a 2008 graduate of Miami, becomes operations coordinator when he officially comes on board July 14th. He spent four years working for Sony BMG as the college marketing representative of the university. He also managed up-and coming pop rockers Big Bang Radio.
He will work on venue festival and special event development and marketing.
"I am extremely excited to work with AEG Live and roll along with the ever-changing waves of the wild music business," Stoll said. "I have a ton of special ideas and concepts consistently flowing through my head and I am happy to be able to put some into action."
"Florida is my home base from growing up traveling from venue to venue and festival to festival with my father. I will continue to rock in my father’s spirit in the years to come."
The announcement seems to bring the Fantasma saga full circle, with Jesse Stoll joining Valentino and nine other former Fantasma staffers under the AEG Live banner. Jon Stoll’s widow, Lori, sold the original company to Live Nation shortly after Jon’s death in January.
The regional headquarters, doing business as AEG Live SE, is located at 1800 Australian Ave. South, suite 201, West Palm Beach, FL 33409. Telephone is 561-681-5600 and fax is 561-681-5606.
"I’m thrilled about joining AEG Live, establishing the regional office in Florida, and contributing to the national network," said Senior VP Valentino, a 30-year concert production veteran.
"My staff and I will work with the national touring divisions and other regional offices as well as independently to bring Florida’s favorite artists across the state. We look forward to introducing crowds to new artists and special events, and reestablishing existing venue relationships while developing new deals."
Joining Valentino in the new digs are director of production George Perley, finance manager Kathy Bohan, marketing managers Amanda Ances and Erica Rieke, artist relations staff Colyn Bohan and Carrie Swett, talent buyers Allen Anders and Ethan Levinson and corporate booker Scott Gartner. Colyn Bohan is also Valentino’s assistant.
AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips marked the opening of the new office with praise for Valentino and his staff, and included a warm welcome to Jesse Stoll.
"AEG Live has always invested in great people and let them fulfill their manifest destinies," Phillips told Pollstar. "We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity to hire John Valentino and most of the staff of Fantasma. They are the heart and soul of the great company that the founder, the late Jon Stoll, created.
"Jesse Stoll is intelligent, gifted, and a ‘chip off the old block,’ so now AEG Live / Florida is truly the heir apparent to Jon’s legacy."
