School Of Songwriters
Acclaimed songwriters finally have a place to call home in Tennessee following the recent announcement of a partnership between the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business.
The college’s newly established songwriting program and the HoF will share a space at 34 Music Square East on Music Row, a famed building that once housed the Quonset Hut recording studio and the Columbia, Epic and Sony Music Nashville record companies at various times.
The new digs will provide mutual benefits for both inductees and students, officials said, honoring famed songwriters while preparing the next generation for careers in the biz.
