Shoor Sees Red

Rick Shoor, who began his music industry career with Ian Copeland and John Huie at the F.B.I. Agency, has joined New York City’s Red Entertainment Group and is booking the West Coast, the company has announced.

Since his departure from F.B.I., where Shoor repped Go-Go’s, Thompson Twins, Simple Minds, Iggy Pop and Robert Palmer, among others, he briefly formed an artist management company and later indie label Buzzsaw Records.

He later earned a Master’s Degree and became a teacher. "Over the last couple of years I’ve been getting the itch to get back in the game … ," Shoor said in a statement. "It wasn’t until Ian Copeland passed away last year and I received so many calls from bands and managers that I totally realized this is what I was meant to do. I followed my passion and began to work towards working at an agency again."
