ICM Partners With APB

ICM has entered into a strategic alliance with American Program Bureau, the companies announced January 18th.

American Program Bureau has been a longtime liaison between famous personalities and the colleges and corporations that want to book them for speaking engagements. APB books everyone from Mikhail Gorbachev to President Bill Clinton to Larry King. It hasn’t been known, however, for having exclusive agreements with much of its clientele.

The alliance means that ICM and APB will work together to "develop content-based programs for artists" covering a variety of topics to address a range of audiences.

Richard Levy, ICM’s chief business development officer and general counsel, explained the alliance.

"This partnership will strengthen our overall client offering, while allowing us to retain our focus on core areas of growth – film, television, publishing and music," Levy said in a statement. "APB’s expertise will expand our current services in the lecture business and provide our clients with the industry’s premier offering on the speaker circuit."
