LN Jettisons Euro Sports Group

Live Nation has sold its SFX Sports Group Europe to Wasserman Media Group.

The deal closed November 9th, and terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Live Nation has been selling off its sports divisions – remnants of Live Nation predecessors Clear Channel Entertainment and SFX – as it focuses on the core business of live entertainment.

The company has already sold SFX Television, and the baseball, tennis, golf and football divisions of SFX Events.
