The Six Flags AstroWorld theme park in Houston, which hosted numerous concerts in its 37- year history, closed for good October 30th.

AstroWorld’s 109-acre site is adjacent to the
Six Flags Chairman/CEO Kieran Burke said officials decided to sell the land instead of upgrading the park. The decision was based on AstroWorld’s performance over the past few years and continued uncertainty about offsite parking rights related to Reliant Stadium and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
