Shed Hopes To Bring The Big Guns
Lake Martin Amphitheatre in Alexander City, Ala., is hoping to draw some top-name acts this summer to perform on its recently renovated stage.
The 6,000-capacity shed, built in 1998, has artists including
Developer Russell Lands Inc. completed renovations to the former dome-shaped amphitheatre last year. An enclosed stage has made the venue more artist-friendly.

The 40-by-60-foot stage can be moved out of sight via a 100-yard railing system when it’s not in use, providing a clear view of Lake Martin, according to the Advertiser.
