Pearl Jam Announces Rescheduled North American Tour Dates

Pearl Jam is ready to get back out on the road after having to call off their 2020 tour, and the band has announced their rescheduled North American tour dates. 

In addition to providing new dates to their previously announced shows, the band is adding new dates in Fresno, Calif., Sacramento, Calif., Las Vegas, and Camden, N.J. The tour is set to kick off at Viejas Arena in San Diego on May 3 with stops in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, St. Louis, Oklahoma City and more before wrapping up in Denver’s Ball Arena on Sept. 22. 

The tour will see Pearl Jam continuing to limit their carbon footprint, with the band paying $200 per ton for carbon dioxide mitigation. 

“We are proud of our prior efforts to mitigate our inevitable carbon footprint from touring over the past 20 years but the time to multiply that effort is clearly right now,” Pearl Jam’s guitarist, Stone Gossard, said in a statement. “By committing to this aggressive pricing we hope to equally amplify our efforts and gather partners who share our urgency to make the investments and innovations required to move our world to a more conscious, carbon balanced economy.”

Josh Klinghoffer will open for Pearl Jam with his solo project, Pluralone, before taking the stage with the band during their main set. June and July will see Pearl Jam heading over to Europe for their previously postponed shows. 

In 2018, Pearl Jam went on a stadium tour which saw them grossing $7.1 million and selling 83,100 tickets for their two nights at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The band also sold 71,694 tickets and grossed $6.7 million for their two nights at Fenway Park in Boston that same year. 2021 saw the band return to festival stages as they headlined The Ohana Fest and Sea.Hear.Now. 

Tickets for the shows will be available exclusively through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration. Registration is currently open now through Mar. 27 at 10 p.m. PT, with fan onsale beginning on Mar. 29 at 10 a.m. local time. There will be no general public onsale.
