Florence + The Machine Announce 2022 North American Tour
Florence + The Machine have announced their 2022 North American Tour, which will see them performing in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Boston, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles and more throughout their 23-date run.
Ahead of the tour’s kick-off on Sept. 2 at Montreal’s Place Bell, Florence + The Machine will be playing two intimate shows this spring, the first taking place at the Los Angeles Theatre on April 29, and the second at New York’s Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center on May 6. Both shows sold out in a matter of seconds.
Arlo Parks, Sam Fender, King Princess, Yves Tumor, Japanese Breakfast and Wet Leg will all join Florence + The Machine on select dates For every ticket sold, $1 will benefit Choose Love to aid refugees worldwide.
The tour, which is being promoted by Live Nation, will see the band performing songs off their upcoming album, Dance Fever, which is due to be released on May 13. Recorded primarily in lockdown, the record incorporates concepts of dance and choreomania.
In 2019, Florence + The Machine performed several shows in Athens, Greece, grossing $616,879 for two shows at the Herodian Theatre on Sept. 19 and 21. Prior to their performances in Athens, the band performed in Mexico City, grossing $792,046 for their June 15, 2019 show at Palacio De Los Deportes, according to reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice. They also played in the United States during that run, with 11,24 tickets sold in Columbia, Md., on June 3, 2019 and $696,827 gross.
Ahead of the band’s tour dates in North America, Florence + The Machine will be making stops in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and more.
American Express cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for the upcoming dates beginning Mar. 29 at 10 a.m. local time through Mar. 31 at 10 p.m. local time.
