Goldenvoice Announces Lineup For Inaugural Palomino Festival

Goldenvoice has a brand new festival to add to its impressive collection of events with the debut of the one-day Palomino Festival. The alt-country shindig is set for July 9 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., with a lineup topped by Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson & Family, and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit.

The festival takes its name from the Palomino Stage at Goldenvoice’s Stagecoach, aka California’s Country Music Festival.

“It has been a dream for as long as I can remember to do a festival taking a modern, fresh approach to today’s alt-country music,” Goldenvoice talent buyer Stacy Vee, who also books tStagecoach Festival, said in a statement.

“Artists in the space have been pushing boundaries, creating sounds that are brand new. I wanted to fan these flames and celebrate this changing culture. We at Goldenvoice love doing things ‘our own way,’ and there are a lot of artists out there right now doing the same thing. We came together to celebrate carving your own path: this is Palomino.”

Palomino features a mix of “country, folk, pop, bluegrass, and everything in between,” with the rest of the lineup filled out by Turnpike Troubadours, Orville Peck, Old Crow Medicine Show, Valerie June, Charley Crockett, Paul Cauthen, Nikki Lane, Morgan Wade, Sierra Ferrell, Langhorne Slim, Amythyst Kiah, Sierra Hull, Low Cut Connie, Jamie Wyatt, Ian Noe, Logan Ledger, and very special guests The Compton Cowboys.

In addition to taking the stage, Lane will be bringing along vintage clothing for sale via Lane’s Stage Stop Marketplace.

Passes go on sale April 1 at 12 p.m. PT, starting at $179 plus fees. VIP passes are $399 plus fees.

Stagecoach and Coachella will make their grand, post-lockdown return in April. Goldenvoice’s other upcoming fests include Cruel World May 14-15 and Just Like Heaven May 21.
