Kaskade & deadmau5’s Kx5 To Headline The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
Electronic music legends Kaskade and deadmau5 recently unveiled their new Kx5 collaborative project and the duo has now announced they will be taking the stage at The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Dec. 10.
Kx5 will take the stage at EDC Las Vegas on May 21, and have already released their first single, “Escape” featuring Hayla.
Last summer, Kaskade became the first artist to perform at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, and the electronic musician brought out deadmau5 as a surprise guest for the event. After both performing their own sets, the two artists joined together on stage for a back-to-back set.
Kaskade and deadmau5 first collaborated together in 2008 for their single, “I Remember.” The track went on to become a classic within electronic music, and the two went on to team up for the singles “Move For Me” and “Beneath with Me.”
deadmau5 recently appeared on the cover of Pollstar, where he discussed his upcoming Cube V3.1 tour, his virtual performances throughout the duration of the pandemic, and his NFTs. The artist is due to hit the road later this year with all-new production, and has teased that 2022 will also see the release of his upcoming record. On top of his Cube V3.1 tour, deadmau5 will be frequently returning to Zook at Resorts World in Las Vegas for his new residency at the club.
Kaskade performed at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco this last New Year’s Eve, grossing $1.17 million for the event.
Live Nation and Insomniac are presenting the upcoming performance at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, with tickets going on sale starting April 7. Pre-sale tickets will become available on April 5 at 9 a.m. PT, with more information available here.
