Ibeyi Announce Global Tour Dates
Afro-Cuban French sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz, better known as Ibeyi, announced their first global headline tour. It kicks off in September in LA, and concludes in a massive homecoming performance at L’Olympia in Paris, Feb. 3, 2023.
The tour will support Ibeyi’s third album, Spell 31, to be released on XL Recordings on May 6, and produced by Richard Russell, who also worked with both women on their first two albums, Ibeyi (2015) and Ash (2017). The duo recently returned to the live stage for the BBC 6 Music Festival in Cardiff, Wales. Three album release concerts in New York (The Sultan Room, May 1), London (Hoxton Hall, May 14), and Paris (Lafayette Anticipations, May 17) are already sold out.
Ibeyi will bring their unique blend of Yoruban music, modern jazz, pop, electronic, soul and hip-hop, to a number of major cities around the world, including many stops in France. See full list of tour dates below.
