David Byrne has new show listings for Japan, Singapore, China and North America. China hosts Mr. Byrne for a concert on January 19 in Hong Kong at HKCEC Hall. Singapore is slotted for January 21 for a gig at the Suntec Convention Hall. Japan gets five new dates – One for Osaka where he’ll play Namba-Hatch; one for Yokohama where he’ll play Bay Hall; and three for Tokyo – two at Shibuya Ax scheduled for January 27 & 28, and one for Harajuku Astro Hall on January 29. New North America listings include Seattle on February 18 at Benaroya Hall; Spokane on February 19 at Martin Woldson Theatre At The Fox; February 20 in Vancouver at Queen Elizabeth Theatre and February 27 in New York at Radio City Music Hall.
Alkaline Trio lines up gigs in Europe for the first two months of 2009. Newly added listings show the band in Hamburg on January 23 at Grunspan; Vienna on January 27 at Flex, Zurich on January 30 at Rohrstofflager and Paris on February 2 at la Boule Noire. Other newly added stops include Amsterdam, Milan, Munich and Cologne.
That funny guy with the dummy – Jeff Dunham – updates today with buckets and buckets of new dates. New listings include January 22 in Salt Lake City at EnergySolutions Arena; January 31 in Winnipeg at MTS Centre; February 12 in Moline, Illinois, at i wireless Center; February 28 in Biloxi, Mississippi, at Mississippi Coast Coliseum and April 17 in the laugh capitol of the San Joaquin Valley – Fresno – at the Save Mart Center.
Death Cab For Cutie plays Japan in February. Individual dates include February 12 in Nagoya at Club Quattro; February 14 in Tokyo at Studio Coast and February 16 in Osaka at Big Cat.
