Pilgrimage Music Festival Announces 2022 Lineup With Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile & More
Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will be returning to Franklin, Tenn., on Sept. 24 and 25, with a lineup topped by Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jon Batiste, and The Avett Brothers.
The festival unveiled its full 2022 lineup, which also sees Lake Street Dive, Elle King, Lennon Stella, Trampled By Turtles, Dawes and more. Festival co-founder Kevin Griffin will also take the stage with his band Better than Ezra.
2022 marks Pilgrimage’s eighth year, after having returned last year following a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic. 2021 saw Dave Matthews Band, Black Pumas, The Black Keys, Cage The Elephant, and more all take to the festival’s stages.
The event was founded by Griffin, W. Brandt Wood and Michael Whelan.
Stapleton released his most recent studio album, Starting Over, in 2020. Stapleton’s two nights at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Dec. 10 and 11 sold a total 26,477 tickets and grossed $2.49 million. His Dec. 5 show in Knoxville, Tenn., grossed $1.18 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.
Carlile released her album In These Sildent Days in 2021, Her Aug. 27 show at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine grossed $322,557, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.
Tickets for this year’s event will go on sale beginning April 21 at 10 a.m. CT at the festival’s official website. VIP tickets include access to stage-front viewieing, the VIP Village Pavilion, and exclusive food and beverage options.
Children 10 years of age and under are admitted for free with an accompanying adult holding a pass. VIP tickets must be purchased for all over the age of two.
