As the President/Chief Strategy Officer of Live Nation Women, Ali Harnell’s vision has helped to produce tours for Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, Oprah, Katie Couric and more.

“Currently, LNW is proudly presenting female-led tours this summer with both Brandi Carlile and Maren Morris, working on fall tours with fascinating thought-leaders, and developing a multi-day ‘Beautiful Noise Get Out the Vote Experience’ inspired by the song ‘Beautiful Noise’ and its Song of the Year Grammy nomination,” Harnell says.

As the world begins to make its continued return, Harnell has continued confidence with the direction Live Nation Women is headed for 2022.

“It’s finally feeling normal again with more tours announcing and kicking off every day,” she says. “Fans are clearly excited to see their favorite artists back onstage and humans are eager to gather and experience the power of live music together again. I maintain my optimism around live music and that people will always want it. There is nothing like the magic of it. Nothing. With that said, our industry is fired back up, inflation is a reality and people have to pick and choose where they are spending their money.”

Live Nation Women continues to pride itself on its continued work towards inclusivity, particularly in breaking down gender barriers.

“I’ve been really focused on finding concrete ways to break down barriers to prevailing inequalities and disparities in the industry,” Harnell says. “From representing Live Nation developing the Diversify the Stage Inclusion Initiative to promoting one of the strongest female voices, Katie Couric, on her ‘Going There’ book tour last fall, to helping the women-led efforts of the Feeding Nashville and Hometown Rising benefit concerts to raise millions of dollars for those who needed it most in my home state of Tennessee. There is always more to be done, but I’m super proud of the amazing work we did this year to advance our goals and push for greater equity across the board.”
