Bill Burr Announces Second Leg Of ‘Bill Burr (Slight Return) Tour’
Bill Burr has announced the second leg of his “Bill Burr (Slight Return) Tour” produced by Live Nation, which sees him adding 25 more cities.
The second leg will begin on Sept. 8 and last through Dec. 17, following up what will be a historic moment as he becomes the first comedian to headline Fenway Park on Aug. 21.
Added stops include Dallas, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Chicago, Orlando, Salt Lake City, New Orleans, Austin and more before wrapping up in San Antonio, Texas on Dec. 17.
Burr set out on tour in 2021, with his three shows at the Fox Theatre in Detroit from Nov. 11-12 selling a total 14,842 tickets and seeing a $935,840 gross, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice. Burr’s two shows at Harrah’s Resorts So. Cal in Valley Center, Calif. on Dec. 10 sold 4,352 tickets and grossed $494,053.
Burr will host the Netflix special “Bill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill” on June 6, with filming for the featuring having already wrapped. Burr released his live vinyl double album, Bill Burr Live From Madison Square Garden, last year, in addition to wrapping up his animated Netflix series, “F Is For Family,” and guest starring in FX on Hulu’s “Reservation Dogs.”
Tickets for Burr’s upcoming run will go on sale starting May 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
