Billie Eilish Residency Kicks Off O2 Climate Campus
As previously reported, The O2 will go vegan during the residency of Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” world tour, starting today, June 10-26.
During that time, on each day Eilish is scheduled to perform (June 10, 11, 12, 16, 25, 26) the various event spaces inside the arena grounds will host climate-related events under the Overheated banner to highlight issues that are close to Eilish’s heart.
Indigo at The O2, for instance, will host panels presented by charity Support + Feed and RCGD Global all day today, June 10, with Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas schedule to appear as speakers.
June 10-12, visitors to The O2 will have the opportunity to experience the free Citizen-T Playground, which will be located at the All Bar One Space from 10th – 12th June. The Citizen-T Playground features a free clothes swap as well as talks from fashion sustainability experts.

Cineworld at The O2 will screen the “Overheated” short documentary on all six performance days, diving the climate issues Overheated hopes to address. The documentary is also availabel online on WeTransfer’s digital arts platform WePresent to watch for free for those unable to attend the festival in London. The film features members of the music community including Billie Eilish, Dame Vivienne Westwood, Finneas, girl in red, Yungblud, and Emily Eavis as well as climate activists Tori Tsui and Support + Feed founder Maggie Baird.
The final Overheated panel event, taking place in the O2 Blueroom Jun 16, will bring together environmental leaders within the music industry to share best practices, discuss future solutions, and explore efforts to engage the entire music community to take significant climate action.
Hosted by Abbie McCarthy, the day will feature panels moderated by Maggie Baird featuring representatives from REVERB, The Big Climate Thing, A Greener Festival, Julie’s Bicycle, Beggars Group, Live Nation, Earth/Percent, Tour Production Group and the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. There will also be performances by Sigrid, Love Ssega and more to be announced.
