The Wood Brothers Add Additional Tour Dates To Fall Tour

The Wood Brothers are expanding their 2022 fall tour dates with new shows in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Memphis, Tennessee; Key West, Florida and more.

The upcoming dates expand the band’s current fall tour, with their next date taking place on Sept. 9 at the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion in Bristol, Tennessee. In all, The Wood Brothers have announced 17 new dates and two new legs.

The second leg of their tour will begin on Oct. 17 at the St. Cecilia Music Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Oct. 27 and will wrap up on Nov. 3 at the Barrymore Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin. Following a brief pause, the tour will kick back up again on Nov. 30 at Tipitina’s in New Orelans, with their fall tour ending on Dec. 8-11 at Strings & Sol in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

Over the summer, The Wood Brothers joined Greensky Bluegrass and Guster for a number of dates on both of their North American tours. The Wood Brothers played some headlining shows of their own in the spring, selling out two nights at The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina with a gross of $64,840, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.

Their last studio album, Kingdom in My Mind, arrived in January 2020. The band is currently wrapping up the final stages of their eighth album, with an expected release date in early 2023.

Artist and Spotify presale tickets will become available Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. local, while general onsale is set to begin on Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. local.
