#iVoted Festival Announces Partnership With ASM Global
As #iVoted Festival gets ready to host its virtual concert featuring more than 400 artists on the Nov. 8 election, the organization is announcing its team-up with ASM Global for the #iVoted Early sweepstakes.
Fans can enter the #iVoted festival by sharing a selfie outside of their polling place. Underaged fans can still participate by letting event organizers know what election they will be 18 for and why they’re looking forward to voting. Ineligible fans can tell organizers which artists they’re most excited to see perform.
The #iVoted Early Sweepstakes will go live on Sept. 26 at noon ET, just in time for early and absentee voting. Fans enter by submitting a selfie outside of their polling place or at home with an unmarked ballot for the opportunity to win tickets for over 120 ASM Global s hows, including Jerry Seinfeld, Chelsea Handler, Puscifer, Toro y Moi, Marc Anthony, Bill Burr, Judas Priest, Orville Peck, Bob Weir, Greta Van Fleet and many, many more.
“We are deeply inspired by ASM Global’s ticket donation and commitment to non-partisan voter turnout in a way that is fun and engaging for fans,” Emily White, CEO of iVoted Festival, said in a statement. “ASM Global’s focus on community and its unmatched scale makes ASM Global a perfect partner. We are grateful to be working with he ASM Global team to drive early voting while giving fans a chance to access tickets to ASM Global’s world class venues.”
The #iVoted Festival announced its lineup for this year’s event back in May, with Run The Jewels, Rise Against, 3Oh!3 and more all due to appear during the livestream event. Emily White, Mike Luba, and Pat Sansone of Wilco/The Autumn Defense founded the festival in 2018, running across 150 venues in 37 states that election day. In 2020, the festival went virtual.
“Voting is an essential part of our DNA, and this important initiative with #iVoted perfectly aligns with the community efforts embodied in our ASM Global Acts Program,” John Boyle, ASM Global’s Chief Content Officer, said in a statement. “As the leading and largest venue management company in America (and the World), we are excited to partner with #iVoted to make a significant impact.”
