High Water To Be Headlined By Beck, Rainbow Kitten Surprise & Wilco
High Water Festival will be returning on April 15 and 16 as the event announces its 2023 lineup. The Shovels & Rope-curated lineup sees headliners Beck, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Wilco joined by Shovels & Rope, Bleachers, Father John Misty, Big Boi, Orville Peck, Angel Olsen and more.
Last year, the South Carolina festival saw performances from Jack White, My Morning Jacket and more. The 2022 event marked the first time Shovels & Rope could re-establish their annual event following the pandemic lockdowns.
Headliner recently joined Red Hot Chili Peppers on two stadium tour dates this summer, appearing at Levi’s and SoFi stadiums as an opening act. The Grammy award-winning musician also set out on headlining dates of his own, performing several dates in Europe. Beck sold out Trinity College in Dublin on July 3, grossing $191,416, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice. He also played Primavera Sound, Rock Werchter Festival and Beach Road Weekend earlier this year.
Wilco has also had a busy year, performing headlining dates of their own throughout North America this summer and fall. Reported dates for the band’s tour include a $137,834 gross for their sold-out show at The Sylvie in Madison, Wisconsin.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise played a show at Melkweg in Amsterdam on NOv. 12, with their North American dates having taken place throughout the late summer and early fall.
