Goo Goo Dolls Announce Summer Tour Dates With O.A.R.
Goo Goo Dolls will be hitting the road next summer and the band has unveiled their 2023 plans with support from O.A.R. The upcoming trek will kick off on July 24 in Tampa, with stops in Boston, Cincinnati, Chicago, Seattle and more before wrapping up on Sept. 7 in Highland, California.
“I’m so proud to finally be able to announce our summer tour with a great band and our friends O.A.R.,” Goo Goo Doll’s John Rzeznik said in a statement. “It’s going to be an amazing night of great music for everyone so be there!”
Earlier this year, Goo Goo Dolls’ released their album Chaos In Bloom, while O.A.R. released The Arcade. This year also saw Goo Goo Dolls hitting the road, with highlights from their recent trek seeing the band selling out Cedar Repads, Iowa’s McGrath Amphitheatre on Sept. 13, grossing $223,221, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice. Theri Sept. 22 at Stage AE’s Outdoor Stage in Pittsburgh grossed $145,415.
“After working on separate albums in the same studio all last year, John and I realized pretty quickly how much fun we’d have on tour together,” O.A.R.’s Marc Roberge said in a statement. “We’re all band guys, love being musicians, and started planning a special night that all our fans would enjoy.”
Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on sale starting Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. local time.
