CAA Announces Promotions in Music Touring Department
Creative Artists Agency announced promotions across multiple departments Dec. 8 including Kate Arenson and Ron Jordan being named agents in the music touring department.
Arenson, based in New York, began working at CAA as an intern in 2017 and became a full-time assistant the following year. The University of Alabama graduate was promoted to a coordinating role before being promoted to agent. She works with Glass Animals, Leon Bridges, Yoke Lore, Mumford & Sons, The Head and The Heart and the 502s.
Jordan is also based in New York and started his CAA career as an intern in 2016. He then worked in the mailroom as a full-time employee in 2017 and served as an assistant before being promoted to coordinator. Jordan, who earned a bachelor’s degree from American University’s Kogod School of Business, will continue to work with ARDN, Jean Deaux and tobi lou, among others.
Both employees were promoted after entering the agency’s Elevate program, which trains and develops aspiring agents with a curriculum emphasizing entrepreneurialism, inclusion, curiosity, collaboration and a growth mindset. CAA’s goal with the Elevate program is to cultivate best practices, encourage innovation and foster global strategic/thinking and nurture the talent of in-house agents and executives.
Other promotions were announced in CAA Sports Property Sales, Baseball and the Sports Broadcasting department.
