Josephine Vaccarello Named Executive Vice President, Live At MSG Entertainment
Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. named Josephine Vaccarello as Executive Vice President, Live. Previously, Vaccarello worked as Senior Vice President, MSG Live and Business Operations. Vaccarello will report to Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, James Dolan.
Vaccarello’s new role sees her leading MSG Entertainment’s live entertainment bookings business, including concerts, family shows, comedy, performing arts, venue tours and special events for all the company’s venues. She will also oversee booking concert residencies at MSG’s new property, MSG Sphere, which will open in Las Vegas in the second half of 2023.
“Over her tenure at MSG Entertainment, Josephine has been instrumental in growing our live event business by pursuing innovative opportunities including multi-night bookings and unique residencies, and bringing unforgettable events featuring the world’s biggest artists to our venues,” Dolan said. “In this new leadership role, I am confident she will continue to raise the bar within the live entertainment industry by leveraging her unparalleled relationships and expertise across our portfolio and in booking our newest venue – the state-of-the-art MSG Sphere.”
Vaccarello first began her career at MSG Entertainment as an administrative assistant in 1998. Over the course of Vaccarello’s 25 years at MSG Entertainment, she has helped coordinate some of Madison Square Garden’s most famous residency runs, including Billy Joel’s ongoing franchise at the Garden, Harry Styles transformation of the venue into “Harry’s House,” Phish’s annual New Year’s Eve run, Tedeschi Trucks Band’s dual-city residency at The Beacon and The Chicago Theatre and more.
