The Kid LAROI is teaming up with Fortnite creators Epic Games to launch “LAROItown,” a new cybercity and virtual concert.

The virtual concert will feature both fan-favorite songs and new music from Kid LAROI, as well as an afterparty experience where fans can listen to the “Wild Dreams” mix on repeat and get an exclusive look at the life of Kid LAROI on tour and beyond.

The Kid LAROI’s most recent headlining tour took place this last summer, with highlights seeing a sold-out night at Echostage in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 17, grossing $118,500, according to Boxoffice reports submitted to Pollstar. Other highlights from his north American tour included a $193,725 gross for his show at Stage AE in Pittsburgh on Aug. 18 and a $176,835 gross at Kemba Live! in Columbus.

The Kid LAROI is far from the first artist to perform virtually in Fortnite. In the early days of COVID-19, Travis Scott partnered wtih the videogame for “Astronomical,” the virtual show landing on the cover of Pollstar magazine following its success. Marshmello had been ahead of the curve, performing in Fortnite back in February 2019.
