UTA Signs Zayn Malik

United Talent Agency added another star to its roster by signing multiplatinum-selling recording artist Zayn Malik and will represent the former boy band star across music, film and television, among other areas.

The British singer-songwriter known as Zayn was formerly a member of One Direction, which is one of the most successful boy bands of all time with more than 60 million records sold. Zayn last released an album in 2021 with Nobody is Listening, and his previous two solo efforts were Mind of Mine in 2016 and Icarus Falls in 2018.

While the artist is known for his R&B-infused pop music, Zayn has also influenced the fashion world, working with Versus Versace and Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti. He has been featured in various fashion publications and was recognized as the Most Stylish Man at the British GQ Men of the Year Awards in 2017. Other honors he has garnered over the years include an American Music Award for New Artist of the Year and iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Solo Breakout.

Zayn is represented by Nicola Carson (ZenKai Management) and Taryn Zimmerman and joins a UTA Music roster that includes industry giants Bad Bunny, Lizzo and Post Malone.
