Certainly one of the most widely buzzed about and informative panels at this year’s 34th annual Pollstar Live! Conference was the “Throw Your Hands In The Air: 50 Years of Hip-Hop” keynote discussion, programmed in association with the Universal Attractions Agency. The panel featured towering figures in hip-hop in Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane and DJ Quik as well as promoters Darryll Brooks and Lionel Bea and old school agent Norby Walters all deftly moderated by Geoff Walker.
