The Smashing Pumpkins will soon embark on a 26-date, Live Nation-produced tour with support from Stone Temple Pilots and Interpol. “The World Is A Vampire Tour” kicks off with two nights at The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on July 28 and 30.

The Smashing Pumpkins will also stop in Salt Lake City, Dallas, Tampa, Toronto and more before wrapping their tour at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana on Sept. 9.

“I grew up in a world where I needed to know like Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Cure existed, it meant there was a place for people like me to hang out and belong,” Billy Corgan said in a statement. “That’s what ‘The World Is A Vampire’ is about. Bringing back that sense of community. If you don’t fit in, you belong here. It’s about having a shared experience and respecting others, but ultimately having fun. A true alternative festival, where all the self-proclaimed weirdos and outsiders of the world can get together and have a party.”

Along with special guests Interpol, Stone Temple Pilots and Rival Sons on select tour dates, champions from the National Wrestling Alliance will compete in most cities.

Last summer, The Smashing Pumpkins were joined by Jane’s Addiction and Poppy on various tour dates that included stops in Seattle (grossing $1.1 million), Chicago (grossing $1.4 million), New York City (grossing $1.1 million) and more, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.

The band is currently putting the final touches on their upcoming album, ATUM, which serves as the final part to the trilogy that began with 1995’s Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and 2000’s Machina/Machine of God. The album will be released on May 5.

Artist presale begins March 28 at 12 p.m. local time and lasts through March 30 at 10 p.m. local time. General onsale starts March 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
