Katy Perry Unveils Final Dates of Las Vegas Residency
Katy Perry’s successful run in Las Vegas is coming to an end as the multiplatinum artist announced the final 10 shows of her residency, “Play,” at Resorts World Las Vegas’ venue.
The final shows at the 5,000-capacity Resorts World Theatre run from Oct. 4-Nov. 4, and tickets go on sale to the public Friday, April 14, at 10 a.m. PST. They can be purchased at www.axs.com/katyinvegas.
Perry has performed numerous sold-out shows for hundreds of thousands of fans since beginning her Las Vegas residency in December 2021. She was named “Best Strip Headliner” by Best of Las Vegas in 2022 and nominated for an iHeartRadio Music Award for “Best Residency” this year.
“The last 50 shows in Vegas have just flown by,” Perry said in a statement. “It’s bittersweet to announce the final 10 shows of ‘Play’ ever, but I am so excited to continue bringing this larger-than-life spectacle through my last date on Nov. 4.”
Seven of her final 10 shows will be in October (on the 4th, 6th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 14th and 31st) and the last three in November are on the 1st, 3rd and 4th.
Perry has had a successful run throughout her residency. From Dec. 29, 2021, through March 3, 2023, the superstar performed 48 shows, grossing $29 million and selling nearly 179,000 tickets, according to box office reports submitted to Pollstar.
