Aerosmith Bids Farewell With ‘Peace Out Tour’ Dates
Aerosmith unveiled their final tour dates as the band bids farewell to the road. The last run features support from The Black Crowes on all 40 dates.
The Live Nation-produced trek kicks off on Sept. 2 in Philadelphia, with stops in Pittsburgh, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City and more before wrapping up in Montreal on Jan. 26.
“It’s not goodbye, it’s PEACE OUT!” Aerosmith said in a joint statement. “Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”
Joey Kramer will be absent from the tour, with the rest of the band saying in a statement, “While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.”
Aerosmith wrapped their residency, “Deuces Are Wild,” at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas. Highlights from the residency included a $4.68 million gross for four sold-out shows between Nov. 19 and 29, according to reports submitted to Pollstar‘s Boxoffice.
General sale for tickets begins May 5 at 10 a.m. local time.
